Job Title: Senior IT Consultant / Engineer

Job Description:

• Job will include all aspects of IT Consulting ‘ Client Consulting and recommendations, Design & Engineering, Implementation, and ongoing support.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills required
• Strong Verbal and written communication skills; the ability to comprehend highly complex or technical information
• Ability to work well in a team environment and facilitate communications
• Strong ability to provide guidance to junior level staff
• Ability to identify and implement process improvement within VDI and Customer systems and workflows
• Will provide senior level support for Microsoft products on all issues relating to hardware, software, applications
• Must enjoy working in a Small and Medium Business environment where every employee has a big impact to the success of the overall team
• Must be able to and enjoy cross-training on other products.

Typical work performed may include (but not limited to):

• Technical Consulting and Design during sales process
• Onboarding new customers
• Implementation of new Microsoft Servers
• Configuring, Publishing, & Deploying Remote Applications via Terminal Server via Group Policy
• Implementation of VDI Managed Services Products
• Troubleshooting AD, Group Policy, and other Microsoft products
• Troubleshooting and implementing network issues with Cisco and Avaya routers and switches
• Assisting and directing lower level staff with Escalated Help Desk issues
• Hospitality Guest Support
• Working on VDI’s and Customer’s Process improvement
• Working within VDI’s business management software (AutoTask)
• Learning new software and hardware applications as needed to provide solutions for customers
• Other Tasks as needed
